Friday Foibles, Fairley and Francisco

An auditor called me when Tom’s company moved us from Albuquerque to Scottsdale wanting to verify

that, “yes, 14 boxes of magazines had been moved”.  That was long before Pinterest, Houzz and blogs.

I have subscribed to House Beautiful for years.  One of my favorite featured homes

was a row house in San Francisco done entirely in black and white.

My favorite party story has to be Truman Capote’s Black and White Ball

My all time favorite movie “To Kill A Mockingbird” is filmed in

black and white and we watch it every year on Thanksgiving.

My one of favorite designers, Tobi Fairley, has partnered with

House Beautiful to produce a series of workshops on color for Creative Live.

drummm rollll please……

I entered another contest and was selected to be part of the workshop audience

and will be flying to San Francisco next week for filming.

I am stepping out of my love of black and white

and pale lips!
